On August 31, 2020, DOF celebrated its 20th anniversary in Brazil.
“It’s hard to believe that 20 years ago today the DOF Group established its first headquarters in Rio de Janeiro and Norskan Offshore was born”, it says in a Linkedin post from the company on August 31. DOF is a gold member of NBCC and we congratulate!
Since the early beginning the company has gone on to become one of the main providers of maritime services for the offshore energy market in Brazil. Today, DOF Brazil is one of the leading companies in maritime support services, with a fleet of state-of-the-art vessels operating throughout the offshore life cycle. The Group also specializes in subsea services to support construction and IRM activities.
DOF’s long-term commitment, investment and training programs have always focused on building skills and capability locally. The commitment to “Think Globally, Act Locally” established our highly skilled workforce, offices, a fleet of 20 vessels & assets and track record in the region.
Recently, DOF Subsea announced four new contracts with Petrobras. These contracts include work within our core service lines for Survey and Inspection. At least three vessels from the DOF fleet shall be mobilized to perform flexible pipeline, risers and subsea equipment inspection in Campos Basin, Santos Basin, Marlin Field and Espírito Santos Basin. The contracts are worth more than USD 110 million with planned commencement in Q4 2020 and estimated to be performed within 550 days.
