Norway’s Constitution Day with energy transition debate

More than 100 people gathered to hear a little about the cooperation of Brazil and Norway on the energy transition and to celebrate the Norwegian Constitutional Day.

 

Yesterday, on Norway’s National Day,  we had the Seminar “Energy Transition and the Green Shift: Brazil and Norway into the future” , held by the Consulate General of Norway, in partnership with NBCC and Innovation Norway.

 

The event took place at the Museum of Art in Rio and had the opening of the Consul General of Norway, Marianne Fosland, speaking about the Norwegian Government’s strategies for the energy transition. Then, Verônica Coelho, CEO of Equinor in Brazil, spoke about the company’s actions for the energy transition and how Equinor can bring successful experiences from Norway to Brazil, in addition to the importance of cooperation between Equinor, Petrobras and Brazilian authorities in this segment. .

 

The Director of Innovation Norway in Brazil and South America, Thomas Conradi Granli was the moderator of the event and opened the question panel with the members:

Daniel Leppert, Vice President and Research Manager at Rystad in South America; Priscila Brandão, Sales Director for South America at Kongsberg Maritime;

Axel A. Holmberg, General Manager Brazil / SVP Business Development at Scatec; Marcela Jacob, Manager of Hydro Rein Brasil, who spoke about the investments and actions of these companies in the renewable sectors in Brazil.

 

Larissa Sigiliano, Vice President of NBCC and General Manager of BW Offshore was responsible for closing the event.

 

The seminar was attended by more than 100 people – representatives of the companies that are members of the NBCC  and it was a success.
