Together with selected suppliers, M&O is hosting a number of 30-minutes technical webinars on a variety of different topics, from digitalization of inspection and maintenance routines to solutions for remote battery monitoring.
While M&O represents companies from all over the w
orld, we still have a larger number of Scandinavian suppliers in our portfolio – and more precisely Norwegian providers of innovative solutions to the Brazilian maritime and offshore oil & gas industries.
Now more than ever, it is important that our Norwegian suppliers stay close to their current customers and potential new customers in Brazil. Therefore, we have initiated series a of webinars, taking place every Thursday at 10 AM BRT/ 3 PM CET. The webinars consist of online technical presentations and demos presented by the supplier and includes a Q&A session, where we discuss different issues related to the solution that is being presented.
Even though the Scandinavian countries have been able to start gradually opening up and begin the flexibilization of social distancing rules, we are still not there yet in Brazil. However, that does not mean that business activities are on hold.
During these times, M&O and its suppliers are adapting to the challenging situation, but of course without compromising with the safety and health of the people involved.
“Our goal is to bring our partners even closer to our local customers in Brazil. Before the coronavirus, people had face-to-face meetings, they traveled and in general spent more time on coming and going places. Even though it really is a busy time for many companies, trying to adapt business to a new normal, most of our partners and customers are working from home and we see a greater openness to online meetings and webinars now. This new setup has proven to be very efficient and dynamic and is beyond what we had expected”, says Clara Maria Boa Nova, Sales Manager at M&O.
