Event on the liability of partners and managers in Brazil held in Sao Paulo, in close cooperation with Swedcham.

The focus of the event was to understand the risks to which the partners, officers, directors and employees of a company are exposed on a day to day work in the most important areas, including: labor, civil, environmental, fiscal and consumer.
The responsibility of the legal representatives is a topic of utmost importance to the legal community and reaches virtually every high-level officials of the companies. Public authorities are increasing the rigorous application of the law and the consequences for the individuals who act on behalf of the company.
How a business owner can reduce these risks and wether the D&O Insurance is an effective solution to protect their assets and directors can cover all situations of risk was also discussed.
